A 25-year veteran of Israel’s Foreign Diplomatic Service visited the Chabad Jewish Community Center in Aspen on July 18 for a Jewish National Fund-USA’s “A New Conversation — Resilience in a Post October 7 World” event.
Ido Aharoni, who now serves as the Global Distinguished Professor for International Relations at New York University’s Graduate School of Arts and Science, discussed the ongoing war started by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, the ideal path moving forward, and how Jews and allies can combat skyrocketing antisemitism, a news release states.
In addition, local leaders discussed Jewish National Fund-USA’s World Zionist Villag, a 16-acre global gathering place dedicated to educating and enhancing the connection and values in Zionism across cultures and generations that will also serve as the second home for the organization’s Alexander Muss High School in Israel a college-prep, study abroad in Israel experience for American teens, the release states.
