Ido Aharoni Aronoff former Israeli diplomat and place positioning expert, is a Global Distinguished Professor for Business at Touro University and Tel Aviv University and previously served as Global Distinguished Professor for International Relations at NYU. As Israel’s longest-serving Consul-General in New York (2010–2016), he pioneered Israel’s nation-branding strategy.

Aharoni has advised global enterprises like Mastercard and APCO Worldwide and serves on boards including Tel Aviv University and Maccabi World Union. An award-winning public speaker, Aharoni lectures globally on diplomacy, branding, and U.S.-Israel relations. He also hosts TAU Unbound, Tel Aviv University’s podcast.

Born in Tel Aviv, his family roots in the Land of Israel date back to the 1870s.
